Discover the financial and personal rewards hidden in your camera
Accountant, doctor, engineer, teacher—people from all walks of life have attended our workshops and discovered their artistic, creative side.

“Can I really learn to take better photos?” you ask. “Can I really get paid taking pictures?”

Yes, and we’ve proved it hundreds of times. Over the years, FPPF has refined our workshops to address the needs and demands of students. So we don’t just teach from a book, we teach from our experience as professional photographers.

Even our basic, starter workshop has everything you need to know to immerse yourself in photography—not just get your feet wet. Graduates from this workshop have gone on to become professional photographers in different fields, such as wedding, portrait, photojournalism, travel.

Start with the basics:

Comprehensive Digital Photography Workshop

Cameras today are heavily automated, but we teach how to use the manual settings that give you full creative control—important if you aspire to be a professional photographer or serious hobbyist.

Course Outline:

Day 1—Camera operation and control, so you control the camera, not the other way around.

Day 2—Practical application of camera operation, practice shooting.

Day 3—Composition and elements of design, how to compose and frame a beautiful photograph.

Day 4—Lighting theory and practical application, shooting with model.

Day 5—Travel photography and post-processing lecture. Photo contest to cap the workshop.

Other workshops:

Lighting Essentials workshop requires that the student has attended the Comprehensive Digital Photography Workshop, or has a good working knowledge of camera controls for shutter speed, aperture, ISO, color temperature, focusing, and exposure.

The Wedding Photography workshop requires completion of the Comprehensive Digital Photography Workshop. Having attended the Lighting Essentials Workshop is a plus.

The Lightroom post-processing workshop requires the use of a capable laptop.
